This Gilbert yard came to us in the state a lot of East Valley yards reach after a few summers: patchy rock, planting that had outgrown its spacing, and drip line that had stopped reaching half of what it was meant to water.

What we did

We cleared the yard back to a clean base, reset the grade, and laid fresh landscape rock. The irrigation was re-run so every plant sits on a working emitter, and the new planting was chosen to hold its shape in full Arizona sun rather than need cutting back every visit.
