Travertine pavers in Queen Creek

Pavers are designed to withstand heavy traffic and harsh weather, which is most of what an Arizona patio has to deal with. This Queen Creek install is travertine, laid in a grid pattern that suits the lines of the house.

The build

After the site evaluation, the soil was prepared and levelled for drainage and a crushed stone base was laid for a strong, durable foundation. The pavers were then set, infill spread, and polymeric sand applied to lock everything in place and stop the field shifting under use.

High-quality pavers last many decades with proper maintenance, depending mostly on the amount and type of traffic they take.
